“I had been to jail multiple times over the past 10 years and was put on an ankle monitor for driving with a suspended license. I was introduced to a case manager who told me she could pay for my driver’s license, which I had not possessed in 11 years. We went to the licensing office and she slid her company card to pay for it.

Last week, I met a participant at the same licensing office and helped them become a legal driver again. I felt like I had truly helped my participant overcome a barrier that I had once faced and it was truly humbling. I am so excited to be a part of their journey.”
